NOTE: This list only contains my preference and your preference might defer. If you have a recommendation that did not make the list, please add it in the comments for other to know about.

Highschool DxD

Highschool DxD is one of the most famous examples of a Harem anime. This anime has its fair share of mystical characters and the story is pretty decent to get into to. This anime is at it’s best when it does fanservice, which is basically three-quarters of this anime anyway. Add in a couple of well-written fight scenes and this makes it a tad bit different than the others in this list. Also, Viewers Caution Advised.

Ouran Koukou Host Club

Ouran Koukou Host Club is basically a reverse harem, i.e. it has one main female character and multiple male characters in love with her. This anime replaces fanservice with some well-timed comedy and an interesting list of characters.

Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai

Based around an otaku who prefers 2D girls over real life ones, this anime does a lot of things differently and that adds to the charm of this anime. Almost every arc has a new girl which the main character helps. Thankfully it does not have an over-abundance of ecchi stuff.

Nisekoi has brilliant artwork. Its style is significantly different than the others in this list. The main character is a son of the Yakuza head, who gets it into a false relationship with the daughter of the Mafia Boss, add in some more girls and you have a decent enough anime.

To-Love Ru

This is probably one of the longest running harem anime, Probably. The main female lead is a princess of an alien planet who crash lands in the main character’s bathroom while he is having a bath, naked. But, the MC is in love with one of his classmates. Thus, this begins another harem series. Funny at times and filled with plenty fanservice, give it a watch if you are interested in a love triangle plot.

Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to

Mangaka-san to assistant-san to is probably the funniest one among these anime. The main character is a mangaka who is pretty perverted. And, as it is with all harem anime, he is surrounded by girls. Thankfully this anime is just 10-15 minutes long and thus manages to be a fun ride altogether.

Campione! has an interesting storyline blending mystical figures and adding a nice spin to the harem genre. Definitely an underrated anime in this category. Give it a watch, if you want a Godslaying main character with equally badass female characters.

Special: Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou

This anime is a tad bit weird. The female characters in this anime are hybrids and are more of a fantasy type than you ordinary female humans. Give this a shot if you wanna try experimenting with a different kind of harem anime.

A lot of the veterans might be thinking that I missed out quite a few of Harem anime, and the reason I skipped a few was because most of the harem anime feel really generic to me and these are the only some of the few I felt a beginner could understand. So, here ends another part of my ongoing series and hopefully, I will be able to publish the other remaining categories I have planned for this series as soon as possible. Till the next article, cheers and thanks for reading!
