I am a fan of the romance genre, and every once in a while comes along a manga or manhwa which actually does way more than just tell a standard story of a boy falling in love with a girl and instead it dwells deeper into the relationship. This manhwa is a very good example of it.
Can’t See Can’t Hear But Love is a romantic web-manhwa. It is an 83 issues long manhwa and the story it tells is absolutely stunning and really heart-warming. The story follows a Korean couple, where the husband, Geun Soo Min, is an ex-manhwaga (Manhwa writer) who stops writing manhwa because due to certain conditions he ends up blind. His wife, So Ri Jeon, is a deaf woman who falls in love with Soo Min’s manhwa and then with Soo Min himself.
Besides the lead, there is a short cast of supporting characters who are superbly well written out and each has been given their own agendas and outlooks that makes all the characters unique. The manhwa divides itself into flashbacks and current events which surprisingly does not mess with the flow of the manhwa. The romance is simply amazing and at times it might end up making you cry.
I whole-heartedly recommend this gem as it is simply one of the best romance manhwa out there which is not centered around a bunch of teens who go to the same school. Besides, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, this is the one that I would recommend to any other romance genre fan.
