HorribleSubs-Non-Non-Biyori-01-720p.mkv_snapshot_04.24_2013.10.07_22.08.11

Non Non Biyori is an anime that has a calming effect on you and manages to put you in a good mood. With a cast comprising mainly of 4 schoolgirls this anime manages to impress so much that the 12 episodes seem too short. Non Non Biyori is funny, cute and overall interesting to warrant a watch.

K-On!

K-On! is a musical slice of life and thus has beautiful OST’s along with a decent storyline. The best moments of this anime comes from the various antics carried out by Yui ( the main character) but the other characters are not ignored and do get ample amount of screen time too.

Bakuman

Bakuman is an anime based around two guys who draw manga for a living. It showcases the life of a mangaka and also has a pretty interesting personal storyline. The anime shows what kind of devotion goes into actually making a manga and making sure it sells good enough so that you can continue writing it.

Silver Spoon

Gin-no-Saji-1-1

Gin no Saji or Silver Spoon is an anime which has been overlooked by a lot of people simply because of its synopsis. This anime is one brilliant anime that actually makes studying at an agriculture school actually fun.

Hanasaku Iroha is an anime centered around a schoolgirl who has to move into an inn owned by her grandmother after her mother runs away with her boyfriend. The anime is fun enough and does not have an overly complicated storyline and looks pretty good too.

Uchuu Kyoudai or Space Brothers is an anime based on two brothers, where the younger brother is an astronaut and the older brother is trying to be one. The story is unconventional and all the characters feel lifelike and extremely well written. The story is simply fantastic filled with lots of twists to keep you entertained yet relaxed.

Hyouka

High school is probably one of the most overused themes when it comes to anime. Yet even among hundreds of such anime, Hyouka manages to stand out and do its own thing and does so brilliantly. This here is a mystery anime coupled with the slice of life genre. The result is an extremely brilliant anime that does not feature a “genius that can solve anything” instead you get a slacker who does anything to get out of work. The storyline does not contain murder or supernatural stuff, this here is a simple anime with mystery though look easy to solve, they are fun to watch.

Special: I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying?!

I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying?! is a short that airs for just 15 minutes or so and it tells a pretty brilliant story which is based around an otaku and his wife, who is not interested in the anime stuff. This anime has a funny yet interesting storyline and it manages to impress beautifully!
